Son of Elijah N. Hill and Isabel Calhoun Hill. He married Ina M. Lee Oct. 14, 1933 in New Castle, Henry County, Indiana. They were blessed with 7 children: Robert, Vicki, Geneva, Jack, Patricia, Catherine, & Ladena.

Charles W. Hill, 85, Rushville died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000 at the Flatrock River Lodge.
Born Oct 21, 1914 in Somerset, KY, he was the son of Elijah and Isabelle (Calhoun) Hill. He married Ina (Lee) Hill on Oct 14, 1933, and she survives.
He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Pioneer Engineers Association and enjoyed antique furniture. He was a Seaman Second Class in the United States Navy during World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Hill of Florence and Jack Hill of Rushville; four daughters, Vickie Hadler of Greensburg, Cathy Zell of Shelbyville, Geneva Sparks Ramey of Indianapolis, and Ladena Fisher of Rushville; One brother, Ike Hill of Dyer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by one daughter.
Funeral services will be 10AM Monday at the Todd Funeral Home in Rushville, with the Rev. Kenneth Bates officiating.
Burial will be at Manilla Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8PM Sunday at the funeral home.
