Gaffney, S.C. - Aaron Devona (A.D.) Gallman, 74, of 524 Leadmine Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Upstate Carolina Medical Hospital.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Sandra Pettit Gallman and son of the late Clarence and Faye Phillips Gallman.

Mr. Gallman was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from Southeastern Kousan and Freightliner, and was the former operator of Cherokee Avenue Motors. He was an avid golfer and Carolina Gamecock fan and was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Mark Gallman and wife, Kathleen of Gaffney; a brother, Kenneth Gallman and wife, Ira Jo of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Megan Gallman and Krystan Gallman.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of the Emergency Room and ICU Departments of Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 Pp.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Jackson and Rev. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to: East Gaffney Baptist Church 2308 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, S.C. 29340. The family will be at the residence, 524 Leadmine Road, Gaffney.
