Jan. 13.—Michael Lewis, aged 83, died at the home of his son, Floyd Lewis, Jan. 6. He had been confined to his bed as a result of a stroke, which occurred Nov. 29. The body was taken to Canajoharie, where the funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Youngs undertaking parlors, the Rev. Peter Heller of Canajoharie officiating. Burial was in the Canajoharie cemetery.
Mr. Lewis is survived by four sons, Howard of Schenectady; Charles of Canajoharle, Keller of Fort Plain; and Floyd of Sharon Center; two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Coons Schenectady and Mrs. Charles Smith of Little Falls.
