Jimmy J. England, 71, of the Cedar Creek Community of White County, passed away Feb. 9, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mr. England was born Aug. 18, 1941, in White County. He was a former car factory worker and logger. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Taylor's Providence Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reed and Elizabeth England Jones, and brothers, Lynn England, Dave England and Raymond England.
Funeral service was 3 p.m., Feb. 12, 2013, at Taylor's Providence Freewill Baptist Church, with burial in the Taylor's Providence Cemetery. David Lee England and Sam Davis officiated.
Jesse Wendig, Kendall Cooper, Todd Watson, John England, Alpha Jones and Anthony Jones served as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
