KITE-- Services for Leon L. Nobles, 71, were held at 3pm Saturday at the Kite Church of God.
The Rev. Kelmer Durden and the Rev. Woodrow Bensley officiated with burial in Rehobeth Cemetery.
Mr. Nobles died Friday in an Emanuel County hospital.
He was a native of Laurens County, a retire farmer and a member of the Kite Church of God.
Surviviors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Nobles; a son, James Nobles of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Price of Kite; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Henry of Adrian, Mrs. Mildred Price and Mrs. Cecilia Ruby Tyson, both of Kite, and Mrs. Bernice Smith of Macon; three brothers, T. L. Nobles, Evans Nobles, and Aubrey Nobles, all of Kite; and five grandchildren.
Peebles-Curry Mortuary of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
