Funeral services for Arlie M. Castleberry, 89, Sylvester (Doles Community), GA will be held Monday, February 18, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Red Oak Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Providence Cemetery, Worth County, GA with Masonic Rites and Military Honors. Mr. Castleberry died Tuesday at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Castleberry was the son of the late Elder B. Samuel & Georgia Pearl Kilcrease Castleberry. He was born in Worth County, GA. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and Civil Service from the U.S. Marine Corp Logistic Base in Albany. He was a member of the Red Oak Baptist Church, Sycamore Lodge #210 and Worth Masonic Lodge #194. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nyoka Banks Castleberry, four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his daughters, Arlene Sheller, Santa Maria, CA and Iona Hermanson, Hermosa, S.D. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Eric Sheller and Chad Sheller and his brothers, Herbert Castleberry, Doles, GA and Gerald Castleberry, Sylvester, GA.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Vicky Quaile, Angel Quaile, and Hospice of Tift Area for loving care they provided.

In honor of Mr. Castleberry's wishes, there will be no visitation.
