William "Pete" J. Logsdon

William "Pete" J. Logsdon, 75, of Kahoka, MO, died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa.

He was born May 15, 1933, in St. Patrick, Missouri, the son of Julius B. and Ruth Llewellyn Logsdon.

Pete was a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was also a fourth degree knight in the Knights of Columbus with the St. Patrick Chapter.

He enjoyed attending church services and visiting with his friends and family. He also enjoyed listening to country music.
For many years he sold Amway and would walk all over the county with his bucket in his arm.

William is survived by many nieces and nephews, his sisters in law, Vivian Logsdon and Kathryn Logsdon Rankin all of Kahoka, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Robert Logsdon and Richard "Dick" Logsdon and four nephews, Ronnie Logsdon, Roy Lee Logsdon, Franklin J. Logsdon and Bobby Joe Logsdon and three great nephews.

Graveside services with a rosary will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the St. Patrick Cemetery in St. Patrick, Missouri with Father Paul Hartley officiating. After the graveside there will be a mass at the Shrine of St. Patrick Church in St. Patrick, MO.

There will be no formal visitation but friends may register Monday from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO
Memorials may be made to the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church or to the St. Patrick Cemetery.
