Margaret "Marge" Hintz of Scottish Rite Park, died Sunday February 10th, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald ; son Dr. Charles Hintz; niece Marjorie Artis; grandson Brian Hintz and great granddaughter Amy Lynn Scott.
She is survived by granddaughters Julie (Clayton) Murphy of Des Moines, and Carolyn (Mike) Lease of Grapevine, Texas; great grandchildren Steve Scott of Krum, Texas; Genia and Andrei Murphy of Des Moines, and Jeff and Ted Hintz of Mahtomedi, MN.
Margaret was born in Chicago, IL, 1904, to parents William and Agnes Hollenback and moved to Iowa in 1922.
She attended college in Lake Forest, IL and later worked as secretary to the Manager of General Motors Acceptance Corporation in Chicago.
Following her marriage to Dr. Don Hintz in 1927, she assisted him in his dental practice. She was a member of PEO and Plymouth Congregational Church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16th at Scottish Rite Park, Penthouse, at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Scottish Rite Park Good Life Fund for Marge Hintz.
