Restaurateur. A founder of San Francisco's first pizzeria and first on the West Coast. With his father and brother they established Lupo's Pizzeria at 1046 Kearney Street in 1935. It became a favorite spot for visiting opera stars and celebrities as pizza was somewhat new at the time. Eduardo Cantalupo, his father sang in Europe with Enrico Caruso. He lived above the restaurant. Before opening the pizzeria he was a singing waiter.
