Claud was the son of James Porter & Ida Lou Belle (Nixon) Blan. He had twelve (12) siblings: Lila Myrtle, Mamie May, Baby (unknown), Richard Lee, Dorthelia L., George W., Roy Edward, Henry Houston, Mary Lillie, Nancy K., Floyd, & Carl Blan.

It is not know if Claud every married or had children.

Obituary:
Claud Blan, 80, of Shady Point, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, in Poteau. He was a retired farmer. He was born Nov. 20, 1919 at Milton to James Porter & Ida Lou (Nixon) Blan. He was a faithful member of teh Assembly of God faith.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; four sisters, Mamie Kuykendall, Dorthelia Decker, Nancy Blan, and Lillie Blan; five brothers; Richard, George, Henry, Roy and Floyd Blan.

Survivors include one nephew and his wife, Alvin and Betty Decker of Bokosh; one brother; Carl Blan of Shady Point; eight nieces; and three nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 17, at the Milton Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. Joe Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery under the direction of the MalloryFuneral Home of Spiro.
