Mrs. Lora Jones, 64, 2111 Clark Street, died at St. Andrew's Hospital Saturday night following an illness of several months.

She was born at Villa Ridge, Illinois, and was married there to Omar W. Jones Sr., in 1914. They moved to Murphysboro 36 years ago. Following his death in 1948, Mrs. Jones operated the Jackson County Abstract office here.

Surviving are a son, Omer W. Jones, Jr., Murphysboro attorney; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Wright, Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Harry Wilson, Marion; 11 grandchildren and three brothers.
