He attended and graduated from Waynoka High School, where he enjoyed playing football and met his wife of 63 years, Leona Lea Jones.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, Leona, and one grandchild, Christa Lea Icke.
He is survived by one brother, Dale Icke and wife Barbara, living in Waynoka; two children, Greg and wife Kim Icke, along with Jarod Wade Icke and Tia Nicole Icke of Fairview, Stacy Lynn (Icke) Whitworth and her husband Izack Whitworth of Savannah, Ga., and Ronda (Icke) Kendrick and husband Karl Kendrick and their two children, Matthew Reid and April Anne of Fairview.
Don had lots of friends and associates across America, and we all shall miss him dearly.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at First United Methodist Church of Fairview, with Minister Ray Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview.
