Information found on Ancestry.com: Elizabeth Tennessee Morriss of South Carolina was the first wife of William Barmore (FAG Memorial 105094520 in Andrews Chapel Cemetery, Liberty, Pickens County, AL). William and Elizabeth Tennessee married 22 Dec 1825 in South Carolina.

The second wife of William Barmore was Mary Walker. Mary is buried in Springhill Cemetery (spelled Spring Hill Cemetery on FAG, Millport, Alabama, Memorial 35142449.

According to the U.S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Application submitted by Louis Carr Henry (attached as a photo to this memorial), William Barmore was the son of George Barmore (b. abt 1775, d. 1816) and Nancy Pyles (b. abt 1780, d. aft 1816, married 1798); and William was the grandson of Reuben Pyles ( d. abt 1835) and Esther Rochester (b. 1753, d. abt 1811, married abt 1770).
