Paul lit up a room. His personality and humor were overpowering. He was an avid (competitive) bicyclist,(appeared as an extra in the film "American Flyers"). Artist, photographer, writer and poet. He loved music. He loved the outdoors. Loved animals. His interests ranged from cooking, working on cars, mountain climbing, reading, and traveling. He had the most inquisitive mind of anyone I've ever known.(Would try almost anything at least once.) He was extremely intelligent. He meant the world to his family. God bless each and every person who has a left a flower, a tribute, or a silent prayer for my son--it means more to me than I can ever say. M.W.

On July 26th, 2015 Paul's brother, Joseph, was killed in an automobile accident. The loss was devastating to all who knew him. Please pray for both my son's. (Joe was the film critic for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, highly respected and admired.)

From your sister Gail
-Paul was the boldest person I ever knew. When I was in high school, he cycled from Colorado to Missouri to visit us, meeting many challenges along the way.-He apparently camped in a cave, for 2 days, with a mountain lion who ate his food--all he had left for 8 days was dried noodles. Somehow he made do.
