"Irene Key
"Irene Abbott Key, age 85, of Arkadelphia, formerly of Sparkman, died Monday, February 7, 2005, in the Beverly Health Care Center.
"Born December 1, 1919 in Dallas County, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Emma Holmes Abbott.
"She was a homemake, former president of the Sparkman Home Extension Club and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sparkman.
"Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Rufus Cecil Key; one daughter, Pat Key Chambliss and husband, Charles, of Arkadelphia; one grandchild, Charles Kevin Chambliss and wife, Kimberly, of Waco, TX.
"Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, in the First Baptist Church if Sparkman with Rev. Wade Totty officiating. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery by Ruggle-Wilcox Funeral Home.
"Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia or Ouachita Baptist University."
