Scott Funeral Planned Today

Funeral services for William Andrew Scott Jr.who died at his residence, Moran, Ga, Rt. 1 at 9:15 a.m. Monday after an illness of several weeks, will be held at the Midway church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev B.E. Middlebrooks will officiate and burial will be in the Davis cemetery. Pallbearers are to be G.T. Raines Jr., Horace Scott, Julian Scott, Franklin Johnson, Thomas Raines and S.C. Haygood.

Mr. Scott was born in Bibb county, Oct 3, 1905, the son of W.A. Scott and Mrs. Annie Davis Scott and had lived in this county all of his life. He attended the Reading school at Lizella and was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. He was associated with the Power Oil company.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Annie Camilla Raines; two children, Geraldine and William Earl Scott; his mother Mrs. W.A. Scott; three brothers, Walter, Horace and Julian Scott, all of Moran; and a sister, Mrs. G.T. Raines, Jr., Macon.
