OTTUMWA. Mrs. Adda CAVINESS, former resident of Jefferson County, died yesterday at her home in Ottumwa, age 69. Spent all her life in the Packwood area until moved to Ottumwa five years ago. Funeral tomorrow Packwood Methodist Church. Johnson Funeral Home in Ottumwa.
Born near Packwood Aug. 2, 1880, daughter of John and Elizabeth BARRON; married J. O. CAVINESS Dec. 6, 1910. He was a businessman in Packwood for many years prior to his death in 1916. Survivors include one son, Roy C. of Ottumwa, one daughter, Mrs. Mae BROOKS of Albia, one brother Melvin BARRON of California and eight grandchildren. Member Packwood Methodist Church.
