Excerpt from Richard Palmer's Memoirs 1977:

"We were married in her father's house by her pastor, Mr. Wadsworth from Buffalo. After the ceremony, and a nice wedding dinner we got ready to go. Our model "T" Ford run-a-bout roadster was new and stylish. We put a box on the back of it so we could carry our tent. When we got ready to leave the car wouldn't start. When they were ready they confessed they had take the coils out so we couldn't leave on our honeymoon. It was quite a prank but we got it running again and were on our way."
