Katie Maude Marsh Stringer, 81, died Saturday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Stringer was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County and was of the Primitive Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, W.C. Stringer of Sylvania and Bobby Stringer and Harley Stringer, both of Statesboro; one brother, Jimmy Marsh of Statesboro; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The service for Mrs. Stringer will be 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel of the Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with Elder W.H. Durrence officiating. Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
