Funeral services were held Monday in the Knight Funeral Home for Sidney W. Stone, 43, who died November 28, in Maywood, Calif. Burial was in Ascutney Cemetery. The Rev. Warren Biebel of the Baptist church officiated.
Mr. Stone was born september 26, 1916 in Mathis, Tex., the son of James D. and Forest (Wright) Stone. He attended school in Mathis and served with the U. S. Navy in World War II. He married Lois Monroe of Cornish in Hartford, Conn., in 1939.
He is survived by his wife of Maywood, Calif.; one son, Richard; his mother of San Antonio, Tex.; two brothers, John C. of Corpus Christi and Eric of New Egypt, N.J
