Edward married Annie Miller in Marquette and settled in Bay City.
Edward was heavily involved in the local community. He was a teacher at Central High School. He held several elected or appointed positions: VP of the Americanization Committee, President of the Community Board, President of the Central Trades Council.
Edward and Annie would drive to Detroit now and then to visit relatives. In November 1932, while driving back to Bay City they were involved in a traffic accident which took both of their lives.
Edward is buried next to his parents. Anna is buried with her husband. Her parents are in the next roll.
