Dora Dell Boatwright Brookins, 92, of Callahan went home to be with Lord on Saturday January 26, 2013. She was born in Greenville, Florida on March 20, 1920 to James and Addie Lil Boatwright.

She was a member of Callahan First Baptist Church and Eastern Star # 154. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by daughter; Mary Ann Brookins (Raymond) Higginbotham step-daughter; Carol Feathers. Grandchildren; David H. (Jennifer) Higginbotham, A. Scott Higginbotham, Richard D. Brookins, Linda Marie Ochoa, Tracy Brookins, Betty Sue Griffin, David Langford, Ronnie Langford, Kathy Lewis, and Kay Lynn Endsley. Great-grandchildren; Regan Webb, Ashley Webb, Brian Higginbotham and Nathan L. Higginbotham. Sisters; Nettie Fenton and Eunice Noon, many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday January 28, from 6-8 pm at Callahan First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 29, at 11:00 am at the Church with Dr. Lynn Hyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nassau Funeral Home 541720 US Highway 1 Callahan, Fl.
