Carlton served in the US Army as a Paratrooper and received an Honorable Discharge, a member of the Veterans 369th Association, a devoted lodge member as a Mason and Shriner.
Carlton retired from the US Postal Service after 35 years of service in New York City .
He is survived by Delores Finley (Wife), two daughters, Carol Finley, Darlene ( Orlando ) Christmas, three grandsons, Jarell, Darius and DeAndre, three brothers, two sisters, one brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
