GLOUSTER--Thomas W. Rose, 70, of 41 Fairlawn Ave., was found dead at his home of an apparent heart attack Wednesday morning. Born in Jackson, he was the son of John and Julia Yates Rose. He was a retired salesman and had worked for the last two years at Charley Moore Ford in Athens.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Miller Rose; two daughters; Mrs. Sharon Pifer of Grand Haven, MI and Mrs. Sondra Smircina of Spring Lake, MI; six grandchildren; and two brothers, William E. and Bert, both of Cambridge.
One sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Van Fossen Funeral Home with Don Seevers officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
