Mr. Harrison was a native of Greenville, Tennessee, born December 24, 1888, to Calvin and Martha Rambo Harrison. He was the oldest living member of First Baptist Church of Boone and the oldest living former employee of the ET & WNC Railroad (Tweetsie) and a retired steam plant operator for New River Light and Power Company of Boone.
Surviving are two sons, three daughters, nine grandchildren and several great0grandchildren. Services will be conducted this evening (Monday) at 8:30 at Kelley Memorial Chapel, officiated by Reverends Herbert H. Hash and Raymond Hendrix. Burial will follow Tuesday morning at Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Directors were in charge of the arrangements.
