Obituary Mrs. Samuel R. Hess: Mrs. Blanche B. Hess, 79, of St. Thomas, RD 1, formerly of Fulton County, died at 5:45 A.M. on Wednesday, September 6, 1967, at the Chambersburg Hospital. She was born at Fort Littleton on November 24, 1888, a daughter of the late J. J. and Sarah Cunningham Cromer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel R. Hess, in 1964. Surviving are a son, Harry C. Hess, of St. Thomas, RD 1; a daughter, Mrs. Edna M. Strait of Harrisonville, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 8, at 2:00 P.M., from the Kelso Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. David R. Hoover officiating. Burial was made in the Asbury Cemetery at Green Hill.
