Gillespie, Oct. 23. - Mrs. Anna Krekeler, wife of Rev. L. Krekeler, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, Gillespie, and St. John's Lutheran church in Dorchester, died suddenly shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday at her home in Gillespie. She had been in failing health but her death was unexpected.
Mrs. Krekeler had resided here since 1896 when her husband became pastor of the local congregation.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Dr. E.H. Krekeler, of Gillespie; and A.L. Krekeler, St. Louis jeweler.
Remains were removed to the Wiese funeral home.
