She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Elmore and Nettie Mauney Bolick.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel
INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park
VISITATION: 7-9 tonight, at the funeral home
She was a member of Loray Baptist Church, Gastonia, where she sang in the church choir. She was retired from Firestone Mill after 38 years of employment. She was also a former bowler and softball player at Firestone Mill.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Wilson Bolick of Gastonia; sisters,Ruth Glenn of Durham, N.C., Sue Givens of Stanley, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Barbara Dellinger of Bessemer City
