Steinke - Helen Givens Steinke, 61, passed away Tuesday at a local hospital. Mrs. Steinke was born in Clovis, N.M. and was a resident of Albuquerque for many years in her youth and in her later years.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Kathy Christian and Tess Smith, both of Oklahoma City, OK; and Cheri Palmer of Logan, Utah; two grandchildren, Brett Smith of Oklahoma City, Ok. and Christopher Rogers of Arkansas; her mother Diana Givens of Albuquerque; a brother, William E. Givens of Los Alamos; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Mrs. Steinke was an employee at Rick Johnson and Company.
Funeral services will be Thursday sta 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Fr. Stephen R. Caldwell officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
