Sheridan Ind. Services for Harley A. Adkinson, 96, Sheridan, a retired farmer, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Kercheval Funeral Home, where friends may call after 5 p.m. today.
He died Saturday in a nursing home. A native of Kempton, he was an area resident six years.
Survivors include a step-son, Paul Webster, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Ross.

Harley A. Adkinson, 96, Sheridan, died Saturday morning at the Sheridan Health Care Center. He had formerly lived in Boone County near Waugh and was a retired farmer.
Mr. Adkinson was born May 10, 1883, at Kempton, a son of Andrew and Mary Adkinson. He married Leatha Barnes Webster who is deceased.
Survivors include a step-son, Paul L. Webster of Indianapolis; a step-daughter, Gladys Ross of Route 3, Sheridan; five step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan. The Rev. Robert Rinkenberg will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin.
