Myrtle M. Holt
Myrtle M. Holt, 84, of Florence, died Friday November 10, 2000 after an extended illiness.
She is the widow of the late Claude Ellis Holt. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale County.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Greenview Memorial Chapel, funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Petersville Church of Christ. Officiating at the funeral will be Derrel Davis and Eugenne Pigg.
Mrs. Holt will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Turner Andrew Young and Bessie Rogers Young; and two daughters Jean Stephenson and Kathy Holt.
She was a member of the Petersville Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had bravely fought an 18 month battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by many.
Pallbearers will be Joe Cooper, Steve Cooper, J. B. Patrick, Jr., Ricky Young, Larry Holt, and Lynn Holt.
Greenview Funeral Home of Florence is directing.
