Funeral services for Richard Lindsey will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden. Officiating will be Rev. Vance Moore and Rev. Joshua Eubanks. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Ringgold. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Richard was born January 11, 1950 in Ringgold and entered into rest February 4, 2013 in Sibley.

His mother Connie Lollar, father (Bud) Lindsey, stepfather Fred Lollar, sister Connette Upshaw, brother Allen Dale Lindsey, and granddaughter Samantha McBroom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Peggy Shepherd Lindsey of Sibley, daughters Angela Cage and husband Freddy of Sibley, Kimberly Clements and husband Mark of Sibley, brother Randy Lindsey of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, grandchildren Dustin Clements and fiancé Hannah of Minden, Lindsay Clements of Bossier City, Richard Kyle Lindsey of Sibley, Lindsey Cage of Sibley, Clayton McBroom of Sibley, Tanner McBroom of Sibley, Jeremy Kirkham of Minden, great-grandchildren Hadleigh Wallace, Everlee McBroom, Brooklyn Hays and numerous nephews, great-nephews, nieces, great-nieces, extended family and friends whom were a big part of his life and that he loved very much.

Pallbearers will be Mike Leppert, Greg Shepherd, Mike Sparks, Brandy Colvin, Mike Connolly, David Cox, and Brian Abercrombie. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Upshaw and Jeffery Upshaw.

The Lindsey family would like to give a special thanks to Monica Shinall, Yellow Pine Christian Church, Sibley Missionary Baptist Church, United Methodist Church of Sibley, Homer Humphries and the RV Works family, Mike Sparks and family, the Crappie Masters Tournament family and many many more unmentioned.
The love and concern that the community has shown has meant so much and we appreciate each and every one.
