Funeral services for Frank N. Brenk, 76, of Wharton, were held Monday, Feb. 3, 1997, from Wharton Funeral Home. Interment followed in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Brenk died Feb. 1, 1997, in Galveston. He was born July 28, 1920, in Woodburn, Oregon to Frank A. and Mary Dujka (Duyka) Brenk. He was a resident of Wharton and married Mary Mohrman on Feb. 3, 1942, in Wharton. Mr. Brenk was a mechanic and former auto mechanic instructor at Wharton County Junior College. He had a love of nature, plants and animals.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Marie Boyd & Agnes Socha and brothers, Ben, Tony & Fred Brenk.
