Graveside services for Sgt. Stephen Joseph Caves, 45, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Copeland Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
Sgt. Caves was born on May 13, 1967, in Sallisaw to Herbert Eugene Caves and Christine Hughes. He died on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was retired from the Air Force.
Survivors include three sisters, Julie Girty of Sallisaw, Connie "Marie" Maginess of Little Rock, Ark., and Leatha Manuou of Oklahoma City; and three brothers, Bert Caves, Phillip Caves and William Barrett, all of Sallisaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Kathy; and one brother, Billy.
Pallbearers are Kevin Caves, Jacob Caves, Jeremiah Caves, Nathan Griffin, Ragon Caves and Michael Girty.
