Max Yarian, 70, of Fort Wayne, an Army veteran, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. The Allen County native was a member of United Auto Workers 715.
Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann; daughters Violet Pyle and Tara Carroll, both of Fort Wayne, and Dora Mosley of Shelbyville; sons Michael Hafner and James Rice, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, Maynard of New Haven; a sister, Marilyn Henderson of Fort Wayne; and eight grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God, Coliseum Boulevard. Calling will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.
