SETH - Emery Brammer, 90, of Seth, Boone County, died Sept. 14, 1997, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness.

He was a retired miner from Red Parrott Coal Co. with 36 years' service, a former employee of the State Road Commission, a former Daily Mail carrier, a member of UMW and of Hopkins Fork Community Church, Seth, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving: wife, Thelma Kidd Brammer; sons, Harold of Nitro, Ralph of Madison, Sherman at home, Terry of Raceland, Ky.; sisters, Vena Whittington of Cross Lanes, Mary Alderman of Beckley; three grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Ronnie Santonio and the Rev. James Santonio officiating. Burial, with military rites by VFW Post 5578, Madison, will be in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.
