She was the daughter of Rev. Herbert & Eliza Cecelia Miller Ewing. She was a graduate of Ada High School and Ohio Northern University. She taught for over 18 years at East Canton High School. She married Dennis H. Casner on June 25, 1939 who died January 23, 1957. She married George P. Enke on June 6, 1987 and he also preceded her in death. She was an active member of Church of the Savior United Methodist. She was a past president of Chapter BL of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, a member of the College Club, Canton women's Club & McKinley Museum Auxiliary. Survived by one son and daughter in law and one sister.
