Thomas and his wife Nettie were both Postmasters of the Cuates Post Office in Union Co., NM. Nettie being appointed May 11, 1935 and Thomas B. on November 19, 1936. When Thomas resigned his commission the Post Office Department decided the office was no longer needed and it was closed December 31, 1938.
