James "Jim" Nall, 88, of Kilbourne, formerly of Rockford, died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born Aug. 11, 1911, in Mason County, the son of Charles and Barbara Schoonover Nall. He married Lorraine Siltman in 1948 in Arkansas. A son, Jimmie, preceded him in death. Mr. Nall was a member of Iron Workers Local 498 in Rockford and retired from Linden Industrial Service in Rockford in 1976. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in rural Chandlerville. Survivors: wife, Lorraine; a son, Wilby (wife, Jackie) Nall of Folson, Calif.; two daughters, Barbara Scaggs and Shirley (husband, David ) Avery, both of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Nall of Chandlerville; two sisters, Jesse Goben of East Peoria and Hazel Eddy of Kilbourne; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Bethel Baptist Church in rural Chandlerville. Burial: Bethel Cemetery. Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Chandlerville is in charge of arrangements.
