LENORA IRWIN VANCE, 1501 Stratmor Avenue, Pittsburgh and originally from here, died Sunday, October 31, 1965, in the Allegheny General Hospital. Her husband is HOWARD G. VANCE. He survives. She was the daughter of MEY LEMAN and FLORA PORTER IRWIN. She was born December 5, 1898, in Washington. Mrs. Vance attended the Washington Schools. On August 19, 1916, she married Mr. Vance. She was a member of Crafton Heights Presbyterian Church and Women of the Moose Lodge No. 1. Other survivors are one daughter, LAURA M., wife of JAMES C. MEDE MENDEL, Pittsburgh; two granddaughters, MRS. EDWARD SCHULTZ and MISS MARILYN ANN MENDEL, both of Pittsburgh, a sister MRS. LAURA WALTERS; and brother, GLENDON IRWIN.
