Lenora Hamilton, daughter of John and Bertha (Corntassel) Scraper, was born on March 12, 1926 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on Friday, February 1, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age 86 years, 10 months and 17 days.
Lenora was a wonderful mother, wife and friend. She worked as a Public Health Representative for the Cherokee Nation to help provide for her family. She will be remembered and missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives.
Preceding her in death were her parents: John and Bertha Scraper, husband: Elmer Hamilton and son: James Leon Hamilton.
She is survived by her son: Elmer Hamilton of Westville, nieces: Vivian Cottrell of Grove, OK and Janice Lewis of Tahlequah, OK.
Lenora is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held at 1 pm on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Old Green Cemetery, Westville, OK with Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment followed.
