Thomas Edwin Hawk
Fowler man was Protestant, maintenance repairman
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery for Thomas Edwin Hawk, Fowler. He died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday (6-17-00) in Meadowbrook Manor, Fowler, following an extended illness. He was 85.
Mr. Hawk was born Aug. 21, 1914, in Sharon to Harry and Pearl Berry Hawk.
He was a Protestant and maintenance repairman for State Tower Apartments, Sharon.
His wife, the former Florence Davis-Fisher, is deceased.
Surviving are: three sons, Thomas Jr.; and Edward and Jerry, both of Sharon; a daughter, Grace M. Morris, Sharon; two stepdaughters, Johnada Himes, Mercer; and Darlene Kosar, Hermitage; a sister, Betty Jo DeVito, Hermitage; 21 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by five sons, Gary, Jerry, Terry, David and Raymond, all of whom, with his wife, died in a fire in 1953; a brother, Homer; and a sister, Joanna Woge.
