A service of Celebration and Remembrance will be held at 10 am Friday, July 10, 2009, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. The Reverend Barbara Marcum of Dallas, Texas will officiate.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is handling arrangements.
Mr. Ward was a native of Texas and held dual residence in Mississippi and Texas for the past five years. He was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Ward was a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He was a retired attorney in the State of Texas, a member of the Texas Bar Association and had served as a judge in the State of Texas. Mr. Ward was an Army Veteran, Eagle Scout and a member of the Park Cities Lions Club in Dallas, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Ward of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Anne Kuhn (Buddy) of Brandon and Margaret Twyman Boshell (Chris) of Dallas, Texas; and grandchildren, Jordan and William Kuhn of Brandon.
