Melva Carson died at Dumas Memorial Hospital in Dumas, Tex. Friday afternoon.
She was born in Amarillo, Tex. July 15, 1910. She was married to Jim Carson in New Mexico Jan. 19, 1928. The couple moved to Texhoma from Tulia, Tex. in 1989.
Her husband, Jim, of the home survives.
Services will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Texhoma at 10 a.m. Monday with Charles Byer officiating.
Burial will be in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of the Dawson-Welch Funeral Home.
