Service Info.: US NAVY WORLD WAR II
Birth Date: 27 Jul 1922
Death Date: 29 Aug 2000

I (Cherie J.) remembered when she enlisted in the Navy. She was so proud to be of service to our country.

Barbara was also artistic.
After World War II and leaving the Navy, she studied Art in Los Angeles California. She enjoyed telling how she was learning the painting techniques of renowned artist Norman Rockwell. She thoroughly enjoyed her studies there.

I recall her getting married. Right now I don't have the forename of her husband and the marriage date and location, although I'm trying to locate these. However, i do remember the occasion of her marriage.

Barbara was an intelligent, lovely and kind person. She enjoyed being around her family and would attend family reunions when she could. (Typically these were held at the Lake Park Clubhouse in Huntington Beach, Orange County, California, USA.)

Barbara was a wonderful person.
