Ashfield, May 28 - Mrs Darcey [sic] Maude Dige, 48, died this morning in Westfield Hospital after a few weeks illness; daughter of Harry and Cora (Marsh) Hopkins of Northampton, was born in Conway Aug. 27, 1903; before her marriage to Carl J Nige of Ashfield on July 2, 1932, she taught in public schools in Ashfield and Turners Falls; besides her husband and parents, she leaves two sisters Mrs Ernest Nelson and Mrs Christian Keedy both of Miami, Fla., a brother Harry Hopkins Jr of Northampton, and several nieces and nephews; funeral from Congregational church, burial in Plain Cemetery.
