Penny Sorensen, 46, of Carlisle died Jan. 27, 2012, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born April 4, 1965, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of Boyd Hood and the late Betty Welch Hood.
Surviving are her husband of eight years, Neal Sorensen II of Carlisle; one son, Chris Welch of Carlisle; one daughter, Desiray Sorensen of Mechanicsburg; grandmother, Charlotte Showers of Carlisle; and stepfather, Dale Barrick of Carlisle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Major David Wetzel officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville
