Adolph Frederick Paper, 61, of Route 2, Stockton, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Mercy hospital, Davenport. He had been in failing health the past one and one-half years.
Mr. Paper was born Aug. 27, 1902, in Muscatine county. He was married Oct. 7, 1926, at Davenport, to Viola Soenke. They farmed two years in Cedar County, and for 35 years at the present address.
Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Max (Valeria) Ganzer of Stockton; one brother, Alfred Paper of Durant; a sister, Mrs. Edwin (Frieda) Schroeder of Stockton; and three grandchildren.
The body is now at the Runge Funeral home, Davenport. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Runge chapel. Interment will be at the Davenport Memorial cemetery.
