Obituary
Gordon, Kans., Nov. 14, Mrs. Addie Hinkle died at her home in Gordon, Nov. 6th. Addie Love was born in Indiana in 1856 making her 42 years old at the time of her death. She came to Kansas with her parents J.P. Love and wife in 1877. She was united in marriage to Dun Hinkle in 1878 and had resided here until her death. She was the mother of seven children, two of whom are living with a mother, five brothers and four sisters are left to mourn her loss. Her death came about 12:30 Sunday and the funeral was held from the Cumberland church, three miles east of Gordon, on Monday. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Belock in the presence of a large number of friends and the remains were laid in the cemetery near by.
