A native of Covington County, he was a member of the Pentecostal faith. A retired carpenter and a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Hurley, he died January 12 at Oshner Clinic.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Earl Jordan; four children, Timothy (Renee) Jordan, Carlton "C J" (Sherrie) Jordan, Donald (Sandra) Creel and Rosemary Posey and six grandchildren, Milton (Jackie) Posey, Kara Creel, Jason Creel, Genia Jordan, Andrew Jordan and Kesley Jordz.
Also surviving are four brothers, Thomas Earl (Mary) Jordan, Carl (Virginia) Jordan, Wilton Jordan, Ralph (Emaly) Jordan; a sister-in-law, Faye Jordan; a brother-in-law, Dwight Bullen; a mother-in-law, Dorothy Blackwell.
Preceded him in death were Louise Bullen, Howard Jordan, Alvin Jordan, Edward Jordan, J. W. Jordan and Francis Jordan.
Interment was held at Serene Garden Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Hamilton and Bro. Charles Killingsworth officiating the services.
